SPECIFICAITONS

Please contact your veterinarian if the following adverse reactions occur: depression/lethargy, vomiting, anorexia, diarrhea, mydriasis, ataxia, staggering, convulsions, and hypersalivation.

All pets should be tested for existing heartworm infection before starting treatment, which is not effective against adult heartworm.

Infected pets must be treated to remove adult heartworms and microfilariae before initiating a program with this medication.

While some microfilariae may be killed, this medication is not effective for microfilariae clearance.

Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.

INSTRUCTIONS

Iverhart Max must be administered monthly, preferably on the same date each month. If given seasonally, the first dose must be given within 30 days of the dog's first exposure to mosquitoes. The last dose must be given within 30 days after the dog's last exposure to mosquitoes.
