Frontline Gold Feline 3 Month

Boehringer Ingelheim - Frontline Gold for Cats uses a triple action approach in flea and tick control.

$54.99
Quantity

Frontline Gold features three active ingredients—fipronil and (S)-methoprene (same as Frontline Plus) with the addition of pyriproxyfen. With this powerful third ingredient, it helps kill the next generation of flea eggs and larvae before additional development. When used monthly, Frontline Gold helps prevent new flea infestations. Kills fleas, chewing lice, deer ticks, American dog ticks (wood ticks), brown dog ticks and lone star ticks. Comes in an easy-to-use applicator featuring a twist-off cap and longer tip. Apply topically by parting the hair between the shoulder blades (where the cat cannot lick) exposing the skin. Apply entire contents in one spot. Keeps working for a full 30 days.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Remove 1 applicator from the package and hold in an upright position pointed away from your face.
  2. Twist dispensing tip clockwise, about 1/2 turn, while pushing down to break the tube’s seal. Do not remove the dispensing tip.
  3. Position the dispensing tip on the cat’s back between the shoulder blades. Use the dispensing tip of the tube to part the cat’s hair so the product will be applied at the skin level. Squeeze applicator, applying entire contents in a single spot on the animal’s skin.
  4. Separate the treated cat from other pets for 24 hours after treatment has been applied.

Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.
