Although it is not a significant problem in North America, protection against Type B is created from the beta toxoid of Type C and the epsilon toxoid of Type D.
SPECIFICATIONS
Contains killed standardized cultures of Clostridium perfringens (Types C & D) with an adjuvant.
Store at 35 to 45 ËšF (2 to 7 ËšC); do not freeze.
This product is for veterinary use only.
Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter.
Anaphylactic reactions may occur; treat with an initial antidote of epinephrine and it is recommended to follow with supportive therapy.
INSTRUCTIONS
Shake well.
Cattle: Aseptically administer 2 mL subcutaneously, followed by a second dose 4-6 weeks later. In accordance with Beef Quality Assurance guidelines, this product should be administered subcutaneously (SC) under the skin.
Sheep: Aseptically administer 1 mL subcutaneously, followed by a second dose 4-6 weeks later. Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended.
