Alpha-7 is the only vaccine of its kind, offering a single-dose, 7-way clostridial vaccine to minimize administration work and stress on the animal. For use in healthy susceptible beef and dairy cattle; there’s no milk withhold. When used in cattle 3 months of age or older, there’s no need for a booster due to its unique adjuvant that provides a longer duration of immunity. Alpha-7 protects against disease caused by Clostridium chauvoei (blackleg), Cl. septicum (malignant edema), Cl. novyi (black disease), Cl. sordellii (sord or gas gangrene) and Cl. perfringens (Types C & D) which can cause enterotoxemia and enteritis.

SPECIFICATIONS
Contains antigens for Clostridium chauveoi, septicum, novyi, sordellii and perfringens (Types C & D) bacterin-toxoid in a gentamycin preservative.Â
Clostridial antigens create a strong immune response in cattle and protection against disease; this has been tested in direct challenge trials under actual feedlot conditions.Â
Store between 35 to 45 ËšF (2 to 7 ËšC).Â
Do not vaccinate within 60 days of slaughter.Â
Swelling at injection site may occur; epinephrine may be used to treat anaphylactoid reactions.Â
Animal use only—accidental injection to humans can cause serious tissue reactions. Contact a physician if accidental injection occurs.
INSTRUCTIONS
Shake well before using. Use on healthy susceptible cattle.

Administer 2 ml subcutaneously using an aseptic technique. An annual 2 ml booster dose is recommended. Cattle vaccinated under 3 months of age should be revaccinated at weaning or 4 to 6 months of age.
