Prolate is an organophosphorous insecticide that controls lice and mange on swine and horn flies, lice, mange and ticks on cattle. One quart treats up to 100 head at a dilution of 1 quart per 50 gallons of water.Â

SPECIFICATIONS
This product contains phosmet (11.75%) as the active ingredient. This ingredient is an organophosphate insecticide.Â
Keep out of reach of children.Â
Do not use or store near heat or open flame.Â
Do not expose to temperatures below 20 degrees Fahrenheit.Â
Store in a cool, dry place in the original container.Â
Do not use on dairy cattle 28 days before freshening. If freshening should occur before 28 days, that milk should not be used for human consumption.Â
1-day slaughter withdrawal for swine; 3-day slaughter withdrawal for cattle.
INSTRUCTIONS
Dilute this product with water according to the product label. Use this solution as a spray for use on beef and non-lactating cattle.
For use as a cattle backrubber: Dilute the product with fuel oil or other suitable carrier (kerosene or diesel). Dilute at a rate of 1 gallon of product with 50 gallons with a diluent. Repeat as necessary, but not more than every 7 to 10 days.
In swine: Dilute the product with water at a rate of 1 gallon of product with 100 gallons of water. If a second application is required, apply 14 days after the first application.
